As you most of you would've already noticed, there's a test to see the community's response to a new advertising idea. You will find there are text-google ads located beneath each entry of some people's blogs. This concept has been rejected by the community at large.

In my opinion, it is possibly the worst idea. I have seen people leave blogdrive because of this one day bonanza. At any rate, it will be an interesting few days to see what happens in the staff ranks and the decisions made. Of course here is a snippet from the mainpage tagboard where ModSquad answers my questions.
Robbeh: So the final line is that BlogDrive is giving the google text ads at entry the flick?
ModSquad: It's only a test to see the feasibility of such actions.
Robbeh: Thanks ModS - so the idea is still on the table pending the developer's review and final take?
ModSquad: Yes. I'm sure there are other options they will try, this is just a trial run to see how it does.
Robbeh: Thanks again!
